Walking the Coleridge Way

After a hearty breakfast, we set off quoting Coleridge as we went. Or at least trying to. We climbed up onto the Quantocks before traversing around to Holford. The first part of the day was spent following the path round to West Quantoxhead. After that we cut back to a well earned lunch stop at Bicknoller.

From there it was a very pleasant stroll through fields and through holloways to our evening rest at Monksilver. Thankfully the rain held off until we were just entering the village but it’s been muggy and quite hot. Glad to be back on the trail again!
